Sunscreens

Sunscreens should be applied regularly when you plan to have any sun exposure. Waterproof sunscreens are an excellent choice if you anticipate swimming or activities which may result in excess sweating. All sunscreens should be applied to clean, dry skin 30 minutes prior to sun exposure and reapplied every two hours. Pay special attention to the areas of skin that are exposed and most often neglected such as shoulders, ears, back of neck and hands, and lips.

Make sure you select a broad-spectrum - UVA/UVB sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher and water resistant.
